ASSINGMENT 1
Sustainable System in a city
This group assignment requires understanding of the existing framework/model/planning of existing cities (on economic, social and environmental aspects and four infrastructures).In the group of 4 members, firstly we did an introduction and documentation of our chosen precedent studies (2 cities under different conditions) in a journal as the first part of the report. In the next step, we compared the existing structural system in terms of red, blue, green and grey infrastructure with a designated proposal to the city we choose.
REFLECTION
From the assignment, we learned about the theory and ideas behind sustainable urban development. With a lot of analysing processes in understanding the factors that affect the urban development of modern cities, we translate the thoughts into diagrams and drawings with convincible data to present in a holistic manner. In completing the task assigned, we found that sustainable design in urban development is important in the way of sustaining the operating structure of a city and keeping it safe from natural and man-made disasters.
ASSINGMENT 2
Sustainable City Ideas
The assignment encourages an innovative solution to a contextual issue, we will be conversant and expected to illustrate and transform concepts and ideas of the future sustainable city. The highlighted issue is food insecurity happening right now under the background of population growth and climate change. The idea aims in developing economic, social and environmental themes for a possible and achievable future, to be presented through an A1 poster with infographics and sketches to explain the ideas.

REFLECTION
We are required to reflect on the identification of the learning experience of the assignments, modules and future application to professional practice. Sustainability is becoming an essential consideration in our daily life as we are facing severe challenges nowadays. The way we do is to analysis and find out the balance of the relationship between the environment and human being, converge the ideas and make it an achievable design as a solution to humans and the environment.
