After that, project 2C, axonometric drawing based on the plan had drawn to show the interior details.
For the last task, project 2D was to draw a 1-point perspective and a 2-point perspective drawing. These drawing used the plan as the foundation, show the different perspective of the building with the background.
PROJECT 3
PRESENTATION BOARD
FARNSWORTH HOUSE
Farnsworth House, a pioneering steel-and-glass house in Plano, Illinois, U.S., designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and completed in 1951. The structure’s modern classicism epitomizes the International Style of architecture and Mies’s dictum “less is more.” It is set on the floodplain of the Fox River and is one of only three houses built by Mies in the United States. The house invites nature in through continuous glass walls and is anchored delicately to the forest floor. The simplicity of the design, precision in detailing, and careful choice of materials made this and others of Mies’s buildings stand out from the mass of mid-century Modernism.
