PROJECT 2

Construction Detailing of Building Elements

This is a group project work divided and assigned to 6 members.We were required to produce a series of sketches and drawings to introduce the construction process.The option of construction we got to work on is the timber frame construction. The report will be showing each of the process such as pre-construction process, preliminary process, foundation process, superstructure and post superstructure process.

REFLECTION

We were going through the project in a tough way as there supposed to be 7 members for each group but we had only 6. We had to be extra focused on each work and spend time collaborating on the drawings. Throughout the project, we had learnt details from the construction process of timber frame structure and its principles. Following the Sketchup model we built to study the structure, I had experience practising my modelling skills as well as be beneficial for peer learning.
